rich hot chocolate is one of the greatest things to sip as the holidays get closer. not only is this version plant-based and low in sugar, it also features one of our favourite ingredients... mint!
hot tip: layer the dry ingredients in a 1 and 1/2-cup jar, topped with vegan chocolate chips and marshmallows (we used vegan peppermint marshmallows!) for a super sweet diy gift.
4 cups unsweetened coconut milk
1 scoop fermented organic vegan proteins+ by Genuine Health in chocolate
3 tbs cacao powder
1 tbsp maple syrup or coconut sugar
vegan chocolate chips and marshmallows
put all ingredients into a saucepan and gently whisk over low heat until hot but not boiling.
pour into mugs. decorate with marshmallows if using, and serve!
